  PATTERSON-STEELE A very pretty wedding took place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, in Christ church, Haysville, when Mrs. Frederica S, Steele, daughter of the late Mr. Charles Davey became the wife of Mr. John Patterson, junior son of Mr. and Mrs. John Patterson of Brampton. The well appointed church was very tastefully decorated with borders of roses and daisies. The bride, who was attended by her sister, Miss Carrie E. Brown, entered the church, leaning on the arm of her brother Thomas G. to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss D. T. Walker, She was comingly gowned in white volle with touches of white satin, and white lace hat to match. She carried a beauiful bouquet of pink roses, and maiden hair ferns. The bridesmaid wore a dainty dress of grey georgette with touches of pink and car ried a bouquet of daisies, Mr. Elliott T. Grasset was the best man, Rev. A. S. Mitchell officiated. During the signing of the register Miss Fanny Puddicombe sang "Love is Divine." Following the ceremony a reception was held at Nith Grove, home of the bride's mother, which was decorated in white with touches of yellow. After a dainty buffet lunch the happy couple left amid showers of flowers and good wishes of many friends for Niagara Falls, where the first part of the honeymoon will be spent.
