  • Notes
    • It was with deep regret that the residents of Haysville and vicinity learned of the death of Andrew Callanan which occurred in the K. & W. General Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday morning. The deceased was in his 59th year. Although he had not enjoyed the best of health for some time his sudden passing came as a great shock to his many friends as he had just been taken to the hospital on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was born here in Haysville and spent his entire life here. Surviving are one sister, Miss Maggie Callanan, and one brother, James, both of Woodstock. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from his late residence to Pine Hill cemetery where interment was made and was attended by a large concourse of friends. Rev. J. H. Pogson was the officiating clergyman. The pallbearers were: Messrs. Wm. Tschirhart, Gordon Garland, Andrew Cook, A. H. Riehl, A. E. Kerr, and Robert Puddicombe.
