At South Street Campus of London Health Sciences Centre, London, on Saturday, July 31, 2004. Bob Simpson in his 78th year. Much loved husband of 56 years of Jean Maxine Simpson (nee Merkley). Loving father of James and his wife Janice, grandfather of William Hartung, John Hartung, Kimberly Simpson (fiancee Grantley Creese) and Kate Webber and her husband Trent. Brother of Clifford Simpson (Gail), Nancy McKnight (Murray) and Marlene Grubbe; brother-in-law, Russel Dorscht. Son-in-law of Richard Hartung and his wife Marilyn. Predeceased by his daughter, Donna Hartung (1996); his sister Eleanor Dorscht (2003); and his parents, Clifford and Ethel Simpson. Bob will also he sadly missed by his friends at Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend. He was the previous owner of Wondergrove Cottages, Grand Bend and retired in 1986. He was also an avid woodworker and loved golf. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, August 4, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral in celebration of Bob's Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In Bob's memory donations may be made to the Canadian Celiac Association and can be arranged through the funeral home 745-8445
