  Valentine is reportedly born in Unzhurst, Rastatt, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, documentation needed. ______________________ Valentine Weiler and Maria Anna Doll with their four children (three other children had died in Unzhurst) and Valentine's mother left Unzhurst in 1847 immigrating to Maryhill. Four more children were bom in Maryhill though only Maria Magdalena b:1849 survived to adulthood. In 1857 the family resettled in Bruce County helping to found Formosa. Though this clan lived ten years in Maryhill, its rootedness there is also seen in marriages: Fredolin 1837-1921 married Mary Reinhart 1842-1915 of Maryhill and Joseph 1839-1915, who eventually purchased the Formosa sawmill, married his 2nd cousin Johanna Weiler 1841-1923, daughter of "statue" Weiler-1795 Andrew. Martha b:1840 married her 4 * half cousin, Joseph S. Weiler b:1838, son of 1810 Thomas Weiler and Marianna Ernst. Martha died in 1865. Joseph S. Weiler later married Francisca Schnurr. Valentine and Maria Anna's other daughters, Sophia b:1844 and Maria Magdalena b:1849, married Hesch brothers, Joseph and Jacob, respectively.
