• Notes

  Ervin Doerr, 79, of 107 Water St. N., died today at K-W Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mr. Doerr was born in New Hamburg and resided in Kitchener the past 33 years. He had been employed by the Wunder Furniture Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and Dominion Electrohome Industries Ltd., retiring in 1962. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Surviving are one son, Wilfred H. Doerr and a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Mabel) Copley, both of Kitchener. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Barbara Ludwig, in 1952, one sister and one brother. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where funeral service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Dr. John Schmieder of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
