  WOODFORD, Bernice Passed away suddenly, but peacefully with her family by her side, on June 25, 2014 at the age of 89. Bernice is predeceased by her beloved husband, Baxter Woodford. Cherished mother of Brian Woodford and Florence Pitman (Paul). Proud Grammie of Nick (Aimee) and Lisa Woodford and Derek (Amanda), Brian and Steven Pitman. Loving Great-Grammie of Clementine and Finnigan. Bernice is also survived by her brother, Bob Wastell. She is predeceased by her son Harold Baxter Woodford. Bernice was a longtime member of the Salvation Army and will be fondly remembered. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. West, Kitchener on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon at 1: 30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception will follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. For those who wish, donations in Bernice's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
