  Gertrude E. Hux DOWAGIC - Mrs. Gertrude E. Hux, 94, of 414 W. High St., Dowagiac, died this morning at Lee Memorial Hospital, Dowagiac. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Wilmot Center United Missionary Church, Petersburg, Ontario, Canada. Burial will be in Wilmot Center Cemetery. The Groner Funeral Home, Dowagiac, is in charge of funeral arrangements. Mrs. Hux was born Sept. 18, 1885, in Ontario, and had been a resident of Dowagiac since 1916. She was a registered nurse before her retirement. She was preceded in death in 1929 by her husband, Chris Hux. She is survived by a niece and a nephew.
