  PEGELO, Harry Passed away peacefully with his daughter Gayle at his side, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Freeport Health Centre, after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer. Predeceased by his wife Yvonne (Bonnie) Pegelo (2004). Cherished father of Gayle and her husband John Ohlenroth and Kathryn Weppler and loving grandfather of Yvonne Hutchinson. Special uncle to Leeanne Wilson. A heartfelt thanks to his friends Janus, Ross, Ken and others who supported Harry and the family through this time. Special thanks to Lafontaine Terrace. The staff at UT3 at Freeport Hospital especially Dr. Ward for making his final days comfortable. To honour Harry's request cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow at later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Freeport Palliative Care c/o Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home and also online). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Harry's memorial _____________________________ MISKIE, Elizabeth Wilhelmena - Of Chesley, passed away, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley, on Sunday, December 17, 2006, in her 91st year.Cherished mother of Ellie Weston, Edna and her husband Jack Currie and Isabelle "Trudy" and her husband Alan Arneill, all of Guelph as well as son-in-law Robert Stephen of RR2, Desboro. She will be sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Elizabeth will be fondly remembered by her brother, Harry Pegelo of Elmira.Predeceased by her husband Joseph, sons Joseph and Alvin, daughter Rubbie Stephen, sister Elsie Miskie, brother Edward Pegelo and her parents, Henry and Mary (Jackson) Pegelo.Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley (519-363-2525) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Chesley at 1 p.m. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.Memorial donations to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
