  Widow of Late Moses Hagey Died in Mt. Clemens Dec. 1 Funeral of Former Sebewaing Resident Was Held Here Last Sunday Afternoon. Mrs. Leah Hagey, widow of the late Moses Hagey, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Gerth, Mt. Clemens, on Thursday, Dec. 1. Leah Heckroth was born at Waterloo, Ontario, on March 12, 1860. Fifty-one years ago she was united in marriage to Moses Hagey, who died on January 5, 1932. About 30 years the family came to Michigan and ago settled at Elkton, where they lived until 16 years ago, when they moved to Sebewaing. Mrs. Hagey, is survived by two daughters, Malinda, Bad Axe, and Mrs. Gerth, Mount Clemens, and one son, Abraham, Detroit. She also leaves three brothers and one sister, William Heckroth, Elkton; Abraham and Eugene Heckroth, Canada, and Mrs. Lewis Wilfong, Preston, Ontario. The remains were brought to Sebewaing and the funeral was held Sunday afternoon from Karau's Funeral Home, Rev. H. W. Link, pastor of the Evangelical church, officiating.
