- MRS. J. O. FLEISCHAUER PASSES.
At 6.45 last evening occurred the death of Mrs. J. O. Fleischauer, (nee Catharine Neu) at her late residence. 176 Frederick street. The deceased was 73 years, 10 months and 20 days old and was born in Germany in 1835. In the year 1854 she, with her father and mother, started for Canada but on the way over the mother died. On the arrival of the father and daughter in this country they took up their abode in Wilmot Tp.
The deceased enjoyed fairly good health until December 15th when she suffered a paralytic stroke which was the cause of her death. Her husband predeceased her by six years. She has lived in Berlin for the past fifteen years. Four daughters survive: Mrs. Andrew Neuert, Portage La Prairie, Man. Mrs. Hy. Geisel, Baden; Mrs. Alf. Panabaker, Hespeler; Mrs. Lizzie Cosens, BerlĂn and sister, Mrs. Jacob Appel, town.
The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2.30 from the family residence Frederick street, to Ben- ton street Baptist church for ser- vices thence to Mt. Hope cemetery for interment.
