  Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Harold dayton in the Ocheyedan Methodist churchSaturday for Mrs. Melindda Woelfle, age 76, who died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Harris. Interment was in the Ocheyedan cemetery beside her husband who preceded her in death in December of 1934. Her death came as a shock to relatives and friends in the community as she was seemingly in good health. On Tuesdady morning she suffered a heart spasm and in the aftetrnoon she was stricken with a fatal attack while conversing with members of her family. Mrs. Woelfle was a native of Canada and received her early education in the Public schools at Kitchener, Ontarion, Canada. She was united in marriage to John Henry Woelfle on October 4, 1890. Mr. and Mrs. Welfle had five sons. The family resided ona farm near Kitchener until 1900 when they moved to Ocheyedan. The continued to farm there until 1907, when they moved to a farm south of Harris. They lived in the Harris community until 1927, when they retired and moved to Sibley. In the spring of 1928 they moved to Harris where they have since resided. In her early youth, Mrs. Woelfle was baptized and became a member of the Methodist church and has been a faithful member until her death. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge, the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church and of the H.S. Club. She was known as "Grandma Woelfle" to a host of friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand where ever needed. She is survived by four sons: Morley of Tyler, Minn, Roy of Inglewood, California, Wilfred of Harris, Verlice of Sacramento, California, two brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers were Rude Stahly, B. Stahly, George Dobb, Fred Bergman, Clarence Wimmer and Lloyd McNeill. A quartet composed of Mrs. F. Bergman, Mrs. Chris Heppler, Mrs. R.S. Woodworth and Mrs. Val Peacock, with Mrs. J.B. Roszell at the piano, furniwed the music using the requested songs. A large number of friends attended from Sheldon, Hartley, Spencer, WEbb, Milford, Melvin,Sibley, Ocheyedan, George, Estherville, Spirit Lake, Worthington, Tyler, Windom, and Round Lake, Minnesota.
