    • Mrs. Anna Habel

      Mrs. Anna Habel, 74, formerly of 15 Mansion St., Kitchener, died at K-W Hospital, Wednesday after a lengthy illness. Born in Baden, she was a Kitchener resident for 35 years and was a member of Benton St. Baptist Church Mission Circle and Adult Ladies Bible Class. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Neva) Homuth of Kitchener, Mrs. Alice Burnside of London, Ont., Mrs. Carl (Gladys) Stroh of Kitchener and a step-daughter, Mrs. George (Anne) Ertz of Dunkirk, N.Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Koch of Kitchener, Mrs. Frederick Poth of New Dundee, Mrs. Russell Wilcox of Brown City, Mich. and Mrs. Mary Milbrandt of New Dundee. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Her first husband Edward Poth predeceased her in 1917 and her second husband William Habel died in 1942. The body is at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. Rev. Leander Roblin and Rev. Frank Melbourne will officiate.
