  GINGERICH, Reta Passed away at her residence Nithview Community, New Hamburg on Monday, October 25, 2010. She was born 98 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the last surviving family member of the late Norman and Emma (Rosenberger) Shantz. Beloved wife of the late Christian S. Brenneman and the late Enos Gingerich. Lovingly remembered by her children Ray and wife Nelda Brenneman of New Hamburg and Walter and wife Arlene Brenneman of Kitchener. Also remembered by Ruth and husband Don Leiskau of New Hamburg, Bryan and wife Lorraine Gingerich of Schomberg and Carol Gingerich of Grand Bend. Sadly missed by her many grand- children and great-grandchildren. Reta was predeceased by her daughters Helen Brenneman, Jean (Delton) Bowman, four brothers, five sisters and Clare Gingerich. Reta attended Wilmot Mennonite Church, Baden. She was a charter member of Baden Mennonite Church where she had been active in the WMSC. She was a member of the 39 Plus Club in New Hamburg and volunteered for many years at the New Hamburg Thrift Store. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private interment will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery, Baden prior to the funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. which will take place at Wilmot Mennonite Church, Baden. Pastor David Rogalsky to officiate. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee or Nithview Community.
