  MARTIN, Melinda (Mrs. Silas) - On Sunday, April 1, 2007 at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Melinda B. Martin in her 82nd year, of RR 1, St. Jacobs. Mother of Elvina (Amos) Burkhart of RR 1, Wallenstein, Almeda (Cleason) Weber, Martha (John) Martin, both of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Ishmael (Esther) Martin of RR 5, Lucknow, Naomi (Murray) Martin of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Simon (Beatrice) Martin of RR 5, Mount Forest, Salema (John) Brubacher of RR 5, Lucknow. Also survived by 38 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Amos (Perceda) Martin of RR 1, St. Clements, Lydia Martin of RR 4, Listowel, Menno (Velina) Martin of RR 4, Listowel, Saloma (Titus) Bauman of Wallenstein. Predeceased by her husband, Silas Martin (2002); one brother-in-law; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren and two sisters in infancy; her parents, Edwin Martin and Elizabeth Brubacher. Friends may call at the home of John B. Martin, RR 1, St. Jacobs, today (Monday) 4 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 12 and 1 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning, April 4 at 9 a.m. then to the Conestoga Meeting House for further service and burial at the adjoining cemetery.
