- WALTER ADAM
Ill for a short time, Mr. Walter Adam, 71, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Holzschuh on the 13th line, on Saturday, Jan. 25. Born on the town line a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Adam, he farmed in that district all his life. Deceased took a keen interest in political and municipal affairs. He was a member of Linwood United Church.
In 1905 he married Emma Everett, who survives with a son Percy of the town line, a daughter, Mrs. L. Holzschuh four brothers, Alex of Preston, William of Kitchener, Jacob of Kindersley, Sask., and Thomas of Wallenstein, two sisters, Mrs. John Small of Elmira and Mrs. John Cooper of Hespeler.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon at 2. p. m. at his residence on the town line with Rev. W. O. Mather officiating. He was assisted by Rev. V. G. Vesey of Toronto. Interment was made in Elmira Union cemetery.
