• Notes

  Charles W. Israel, RR 2, Wallenstein, died at K-W Hospital Aug. 15 after a brief illness. He was 87. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Israel, he was born in Floradale Sept. 16, 1879. In 1910 he married the former Clara Ernst who predeceased him in 1933. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Floradale. He is survived by two sons, Roy, of RR 2, Wallenstein and Percy of Listowel; three daughters, Mrs. Rella Clark of Toronto, Mrs. Helmer (Viola) Axt of Elmira and Mrs. Walter (Pearl) Spencer of Roseville; one brother, George of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Mewhinney of Listowel and Mrs. Alvina Westfall of Kitchener; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Aug. 17 when removal was made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Floradale, for service. Rev. Frank Malinsky officiated.
