    • JAMES--April 15th, Mrs. Emma James, aged 81 years, formerly of 403 2nd Avenue N.E. born in Elmira, Ontario, she came to the Didsbury district in 1903 and had resided in Calgary since 1913. Mrs. James was a member of Central United Church.

      Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Percy (Jeanette) Lunt, Penhold, Mrs. Allan (Ethel) Konschuh, Didsbury, Mrs. Ted (Lucille) Togstad, Crossfield, and Mrs. Lois McLellan, Calgary; four sons, Russell, William and Gordon, all of Calgary and Charles of Dawson Creek, B.C.; 21 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edmund Schwindt, Elmira; two brothers, Henry Bolander, Sundre, and Addison Bolander, Kevisville. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mrs. Edith English in 1947 and her husband Dunham in 1938.
