- SAD AND SUDDEN
Was the Death of the Late Mrs. Jas A. Dryden - Sick But a Week
Very sudden was the death of Mrs. James A. Dryden, who passed away in the Galt Hospital, Thursday morning. She was taken ill while driving to Galt, last Friday and was removed to the hospital, Monday. She never rallied and delirium manifested Itself about 2 o'clock, Wednesday morning. Twenty-four hours or so later she had ceased to breathe. All who knew Mrs. Dryden or who knew the family and the number will include nearly every person in Dumfries, as well as many in other sections will lament her demise. She was widely known and generally liked and her husband and the four children who survive her, will have the heartfelt sympathy of the community. The deceased was in her 39th year. The funeral took place from her late residence, 9th concession of North Dumfries, on Friday afternoon.
