  Agnes J. McMillan - A well-known resident of Ayr, Agnes Jamieson McMillan, passed away Thursday evening in Willett Hospital, Paris. The late Miss McMillan, who was in her 72nd year, had been in failing health for some time. Born at Kirkwall, the late Miss McMillan came to Ayr as a young girl. For many years she was a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital, New York, and returned to her home in Ayr about 10 years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are six sisters, Janet, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary, at home; Mrs. Herman Jacoby (Christina), and Mrs. George Jacoby (Anna), both of Dundurn, Sask.; and one brother, William, of Lake Orion, Mich. Four brothers predeceased her. - The Funeral - The funeral took place from her late residence, Water Street, on Sunday at 2.30 p.m., with interment being made in Ayr Cemetery. Rev W. J. McKeown of Galt conducted the services. The pallbearers were: Everitt Thompson, Fred McMillan, and Max McBride, all of Toronto; Beverly McMillan of Windsor, W. J Henderson of North Dumfries, and J. W. Currie of Ayr. Besides many relatives and friends from Ayr, there were present a number from Toronto, Galt, Paris, Blair, Hespeler, Windsor and Dundurn Saskatchewan.
