    • Miss Mary C. McMillan Passes

      Miss Mary Christina McMillan passed away early Sunday. She was in her 93rd year. A resident of the Drumbo Nursing Home for the past five years, Miss McMillan had spent the rest of her life in Ayr, in the family home on Water St. A daughter of the late William and Agnes McMillan, she was born in Kirkwald. Miss McMillan was a member of Knox United Church and for many years was a very faithful Sunday School teacher. For several years, she was a clerk at the Ayr Post office. She was predeceased by five brothers: Wellwood, Thomas, Robert, John and William; also six sisters Janet, Agnes, Elizabeth, Margaret, Christina (Mrs. Herman Jacoby), and Anna (Mrs. George Jacoby). Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral and committal services were held today (Wed.) from Little's Funeral Home, Galt. Rev. F. E. Rice of the United Church officiated. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.
