    • Funeral of H. C. Overlade.

      The funeral took place Friday from his late residence, 804 Manning ave., of Mr. Herbert C. Overlade, whose death occurred on Tuesday. The late Mr. Overlade, who had been ill for some time, but was feeling much better lately, had been using his bicycle as a means of visiting his different friends in the city, and it is thought had overdone himself on the day of his death. He was a member of Toronto Lodge I.O.O.F. and a. Y.M.C.A. member, and was with the Aikenhead Hardware Co. for over 14 years, at the time of his illness holding the position of assistant secretary-treasurer. He leaves a wife. formerly Miss Marie Smith, his mother, and two sisters, Mrs. John Gilbert of Lynden and Mrs. I. Maude of Toronto.

      The body which was discovered on Tuesday afternoon in a shed at the foot of John street, Toronto, was yesterday Identified as being the remains of Herbert C. Overlade. He had been a clerk in the employ of the Aikenhead Hardware Co., prior to his death.
