  Ayr Native Passes Mrs. Alfred E. Stover, 82, the former Louisa Newell, died Saturday at the Willett Hospital, Paris. Born in Ayr, Mrs. Stover lived in the Paris district all her life. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Mrs. Stover was the last member of the Newell family. Surviving are one son, Harold W. of Paris; three daughters, Mrs. Arthur N. (Florence) Smith and Mrs. James C. (Ethel) Good, both of Paris, and Mrs. George (Helen) Rogers of Niagara Falls, Ont.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in 1958. Funeral service was held Tuesday at the Bruce B. Smith Funeral Home with interment in Paris Cemetery. Ayr News Jul 19 1962 pg 8
