  DURHAM - A native of Glenelg Township, Mrs. Mary Fogarty McAuliffe of Detroit died Monday in Detroit following a lengthy illness. She was a daughter of the late Andrew Fogarty and Mary Callaghan. Her husband, John, predeceased her in 1940. Mrs. McAuliffe lived for some time at Glenelg Centre, Durham and Kitchener before moving to Detroit. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Elizabeth) Caulfield Davies, Mrs. George (Margaret) Shewell, Mrs. George (Hannah) Arnett and Mrs. Wilfred (Stella) Sharpe of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. John (Nell), Quinn of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and Mrs. David (Hannah) McAuliffe of Durham. A third sister died six weeks ago. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John Berchman's Church, Detroit.
