  In Boulder Creek, July 13, Daniel Hartman, a native of Canada, aged 53 years, 9 months. Funeral services will be held from Wessendorf & Staffler's undertaking parlors at 2 p. m. tomorrow (Tuesday). Friends and acquaintances respectfully Invited to attend. Remains will be shipped to Cypress Lawn cemetary for cremation Wednesday. Published in the Santa Cruz Evening News on July 13, 1914 ___________ Old-Time Resident of Boulder Creek Dies Dan Hartman Passes Away at the Mountain Town After Short Illness. Special to the Mercury Herold. SANTA CRUZ, July 13 Dan Hartman. one-of the first residents of Boulder Creek, died last night at his home after a short illness. He was a native of Canada and leaves a widow, four sons. Phil. Earl, Ray and Herbert: a daughter. Ollie, and six brothers, Jacob, Charles, George.
