  YANTZ, Mr. Oscar - At K-W Hospital, Kitchener, on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1982, Oscar Vincent Yantz, aged 66 years, of 214 Royal St., Waterloo. Mr. Yantz was a member of St. Agnes RC Church and was a retired employee of BF Goodrich Canada Inc., where he had worked for 39 years. Beloved husband of the former Helen Gerth; dear father of Paul and his wife Lynn of RR 1, New Hamburg, Joan and her husband George Nickels of Kitchener and Bette and her husband Kenneth Maxwell of RR 6, Guelph; grandfather of Susan, Danny, and Barry Nickels, Darrell and Bradley Maxwell and Sebastian Yantz; great grandfather to David and Brian Ringle. He is also survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Tina Yantz of Waterloo; three step-brothers, Carl Heinrich and Walter Heinrich, both of Waterloo, John Heinrich of Kitchener and one step-sister, Sally (Mrs. James Brown) of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Yantz and by one brother, Charles. Mr. Yantz's family will receive their friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. The parish prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Agnes RC Church at 11 a.m. (Friday) with Rev. T.J. Gerharz, SAC, officiating. Interment to follow in Parkview cemetery, Waterloo.
