- WEBER, Simeon M. Peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at his home, RR 1 Gowanstown, Simeon M. Weber, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Susanna (Wideman) Weber, for 65 years. Loving father of Menno and Beulah Weber of RR 1 Alma, Amsey and Ella Weber of Elmira, Cleason and Erla Weber of RR 3 Moorefield, David and Wilma Weber of Elmira, Mary and James Martin of RR 1 Westmeath, Lena and Ibra Martin of Linwood, Nancy and David Horst of RR 1 Gowanstown, Mark and Marilyn Weber of Elmira. Fondly remembered by his 38 grandchildren and 109 great; grandchildren. Brother of Amsey Weber and Jacob Weber. Predeceased by his parents, Israel and Mary (Martin) Weber; two sisters, Selina and Lydian Weber; three brothers, Norman, Enos and Israel Weber; two sisters-in-law, Lovina and Susannah Weber; one granddaughter and three great-grandsons. The family received their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Transfer was then made to his home, RR 1 Gowanstown ( 6336 Perth Line # 88) for visitation Tuesday (today) from 2-4 p.m., where a family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at 9 a.m. then to Brotherston Mennonite Meeting House, for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
