  Wallace R. Jardine By Record Correspondent HESPELER Wallace R. Jardine, 78, of Hespeler died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. Born in Hespeler, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jardine. He was superintendent at the A. B. Jardine Foundry in Hespeler for more than 30 years until he retired in February, 1963. He was a volunteer fireman with the Hespeler fire department for 47 years, serving as both deputy chief and chief. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian church. Surviving are his wife, the former Lydia Burn; a son, Bruce of Hespeler; five grandchildren. The body is at the Nelson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Stanley Gentle of St. Andrew's. Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Hespeler Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada Wednesday, December 23, 1964
