At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 1983, aged 70 years, Bert Rogers, of 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge. Served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and a retired salesman with Washburn's Men's Wear, now Paul Puncher Men's Clothier. Son of the late Athleen Stover and Ananis Shantz; husband of the former Hazel Brown; father of Linda (Mrs. Plomin) and Brian James, both of Kitchener. Also survived by one sister, Vietta (Mrs. Stover) of Waterloo and three grandchildren. Laura, Bonnie, and Charles. Predeceased by two sisters, Viola and Velma and one brother, Velores. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Convenant Chapel at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Friday, Jan. 14, 1983, at 2 p.m., Rev. J. Bigelow officiating.
