  Nelson Miehm, 80, of 95 Franklin St., died today at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Miehm was a carpenter in Kitchener all his life and started Miehm and Sons Constuction and retired 10 years ago. He was born Nov. 12, 1884, at Centreville, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Miehm. He was a member of St. Aloysius RC Church, of the Holy Name Society and the Jolly Oldsters Club. He is survived by four sons, Leonard, Wilfred, Nelson Jr., and Jerome, all of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Marjorie) Bisch and Sister Rose Marie, principal of St. John's School, both of Kitchener; one brother, Charles of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Bert (Martha) Sutton of Hamilton and Mrs. William (Geneva) Wheeler of Kitchener, 17 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes Rose, in 1957. They were married in Galt, Sept 15, 1913. He was also predeceased by one daughter, Alta, seven brothers and two sisters. The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home where prayers will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. followed by prayers by the St. John's PTA at 8: 30 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Saturday at 8: 15 a.m. before requiem high mass at St. Aloysius Church at 8: 45 a.m. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
