  BEGGS, Ruby Fern - Of Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston and formerly of Drayton, passed away peacefully, at Palmerston and District Hospital, on Monday, Dec. 24, 1990, in her 94th year. Fern Cherry, beloved wife of the late Leslie Beggs (1983). Dear mother of Lavern Beggs and his wife June of Elmira, Joyce and her husband Donald McDonald of RR 1, Moorefield, Lorraine and her husband Don Kidd of Elmira; loving grandmother of Linda Beggs of Toronto, Dr. Jane Whale and her husband Stephen Whale of RR 1, Clifford, Murray and David McDonald, both of RR 1, Moorefield, Blair Kidd of Holland, Kidd of Elmira and one great-grandson, Matthew Whale. survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Cherry of RR 2, Wallenstein. by one son, George Beggs (1950) and two brothers, Gordon and Ellwyn Cherry. Fern Beggs was a long time member of the Women's Institute and United Church women. Friends will pay their respects on Thursday, Dec. 27 (today) from 1 p.m. to service time at 2 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton, where Rev.
