    • John Faulhafer

      John Faulhafer, 77, Nithburg, died Thursday in the Milverton Nursing Home.

      He was born in North Easthope Township, a son of the late John Faulhafer and the former Elizabeth Kumpf.

      After farming in Wellesley Township until 1943, he worked at Sunshine Office Equipment, Waterloo, for 20 years.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Birmingham; one son, Edgar, RR 2, Wellesley; two brothers, Edwin, Wellesley; Henry, Tavistock; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.

      Funeral service was held Saturday at St. Peters' Lutheran Church, Gadshill at 2:30 p.m. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery.

      Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley, was in charge of arrangements.
