- Ambrose Birmingham
Ambrose E. Birmingham of 615 Flint Road, passed away Friday morning after a long illness.
He was born April 11, 1908 at Stratford, Canada, coming to the United States in 1926. On November 12, 1902 he was married to Martha Herrest at Ann Arbor, moving to the Brighton area in 1951.
Mr. Birmingham was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church in Brighton.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Anita of Brighton and Theresa Ann at home; eight sons, Thomas of Ann Arbor and Michael, Larry, John, Joseph, James, David and Gerard all at home; his father. John Birmingham of Waterloo, Canada; two sisters, Sister Anacletus of Fort St. John, Canada and Mrs. Marie Albert of Toronto, Canada; and a brother, Joseph Birmingham of Kitchner, Canada.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday from St. Patrick's Catholic church in Brighton with the Reverend Father Leo McCann officiating. Burial Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday evening.
