  SCHNARR, Arnold - Passed away, at the Village of Winston Park, on Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, in his 94th year. Arnold, along with his wife, Irene, owned and operated the Darlene Beauty Salon on Belmont Blvd. in Kitchener for 49 years. He was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Irene. Dear father of Richard and his wife Fern and Joan and her husband Douglas Martz, all of Waterloo; grandfather of Karin Schnarr and Philip Schnarr, Debbie Melanson and her husband Edgar, Cheryl Brown and her husband Paul and James Martz and his wife Wanda; great-grandfather of Jesse and Sean Melanson, Jason Brown and his wife Tiffany and Ryan, Dylan and Shayna Martz; great-great-grandfather of Julia Brown. Survived by his brothers, Roy Schnarr and his wife Dolly and Gordon Schnarr and his wife Eileen, all of Waterloo and sister, Gloria Hentges and her husband Edward of Kitchener. Predeceased by his brother, Arwood Schnarr and his sisters, Verneda Gracey and Mabel Paepke. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m., with Rev.
