STEURNAGEL, Rita (nee O'Keefe) Passed away, peacefully, after a valiant battle with cancer, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on September 12, 2001, at the age of 75 years. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family. Dearest mother of Polly O'Keefe of Toronto, Nancy and Uwe Kretschmann, Roger and Arlene Steurnagel, all of Cambridge, Jean Scammell and Les Waters of New Hamburg. Also fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Adam and Daniela, Joe, Dietrich, Caitlin, Karl, Maura and great-granddaughter, Chloe and her son-in-law, David. Predeceased by her husband, Paul. Rita is survived by her brothers and sisters, Daniel, Helen, Michael, Charles, Catherine, Rachel, Marie and Susan. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held at St. Paul's United Church Hall, 450 King St., Cambridge (Preston) on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Medical Day Care, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Covenant House. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, 623-1290.
