  Heimpel, Helen - On Sunday, July 1, 2001, at her residence, Helen Heimpel (nee Kappes), age 87 years, of 233 Franklin St. N., Kitchener. Dear mother of Robert and his wife Delores of RR 4, Lucknow, Kenneth and his wife Pat of RR 5, Goderich, Doreen Book and her husband Ray of Kitchener, Grant and his wife Norah of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sister of Violet Moore and her husband Andrew of Waterloo, Howard Kappes and his wife Audrey of Kitchener; sister-in-law of Lydia Ann Kappes of St. Jacobs. Predeceased by her grandson, Terry Heimpel; her parents, Henry and Clara (nee Lindner) Kappes; her brother, Herman; her sister, Ruth Heimpel; two granddaughters, Gail and Shirley and one great-great-grandson. Helen was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral and committal service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Wednesday 11 am, with Rev. Donald Stroh officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
