- Wallace Mombourquette
Wallace Mombourquette of 174 Highland Rd., died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was 56.
Mr. Mombourquette was born in Sydney, N.S., and came to Kitchener 20 years ago. He was a steel worker with Canadian Blower and Forge Co. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Men. He was a son of the late Mr and Mrs. Alexander Mombourquette.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helene Herrgott; two sons, Daniel and Gary both of Kitchener; three daughters, Mrs. Riehard (Annette) Tefzke of Kitchener, Mrs. Brian (Elaine) Daly of Waterloo and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Berger of Petersburg; a brother, Daniel of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Howard (Madaline) Brewster of Nova Scotia and four grandchildren.
Prayers were said at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral home on Saturday, followed by requiem mass at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Burial took place in Woodland cemetery.
