  Henry Eugene Kuepfer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Knollcrest Lodge. Henry was born July 10, 1936 in Hutchinson, Kansas, a son of the late Jonathan and Leona (Follas) Kuepfer. For the past year Brookside Conservative Mennonite Church has been Henry's home church. Henry resided on the family farm near Brunner for 50 years. Henry enjoyed woodworking, photography and music and had an appreciation for nature. He found teaching summer Bible school fulfilling. Henry is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Kuepfer) Kuepfer of Route 3 Moorefield. Loving father of Cheryl (James) Beachy, David (Bernice), Sandra (Ron) Hess, Dannie (Lisa), Debbie (John) Hogg, and Dale (Delphine). Caring grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Henry will be remembered by his siblings; Melvin, Sarah, Velma (Dannie) Gascho, Dorothy (Andy) Gascho, Susanna "Susie" (David) Huber, sisters-in-law Lillian Kuepfer and Catherine Kuepfer. Also remembered by his brothers & sisters-in-law; Margaret Kuepfer, Elsie (Laverne) Martin, Enos & Doris Kipfer, Allan & Isobel Kuepfer, Edna Lahmann, Katie (Richard) Troyer, Lorne & Grace Kuepfer, Frieda (Irvin) Huber. Henry will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings; Aaron (Ruth) Kuepfer, Mary (Stanley) Helmuth, Barbara McNab (Archie McNab & Leslie Nau), Joseph (Betty) Kuepfer, Raymond Kuepfer, Levi (Laurene), John (Kelsey) Kuepfer, Martha (Bernhardt) Schultz, William "Bill" Kuepfer and brothers-in-law Jacob, Levi and Ivan Kuepfer and Fred Lahmann. Relatives and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Brookside Conservative Mennonite Church, Carthage at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Brookside Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery, Carthage.
