- Charles E. Lehman, 61. of RR 1, West Montrose, died Monday in the K-W Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Woolwich Township, on May 10, 1915, and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Lehman. He farmed in the district most of his life.
Mr. Lehman was a member of St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill, and the Holy Name Society. He married the former Noreen Zettel in 1943.
Surviving besides his wife, are five daughters. Janice of Kitchener, Charleen of Hamilton. and Stephanie, Margaret and Ruth at home; two brothers, Henry of Breslau, and Alphonse of Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Marie) De Long, Rochester. N.Y.. Mrs. George (Clara) Reinhart, Kitchener and Mrs. Roy (Laurette) Hasson, RR 5, Guelph.
Mr. Lehman was predeceased by one son, two brothers, Herman and Alex, and two sisters, Annie and Ella. The body will be at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira. for prayers, Thursday, March 16, at 10:15 a.m. Requiem mass will be at St. Boniface Church at 11 am, Thursday with Rev. Wilbert Zettel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
