  MARTIN, Alyce (Mrs. Ion) - Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Chateau Gardens, Elmira, Alyce (Melitzer) Martin. in her 90th year, of RR 2, West Montrose. Beloved wife of the late Ion Martin (1977): dear mother of Merlyn and Dorothy Martin of West Montrose, LaVerne and Beverlee Martin of Hastings and Larry and Lynne Martin of West Montrose. Also lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren, Sandra (Lawrence), Karen (Kevin), Paul (Theresa), Donna (Mark), Doug (Connie), Ron (Lori) and Charmaine (Jim) and her 15 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Betty-Lou Melitzer of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Effie (Letson) Melitzer and her brother, George Melitzer. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7.9 p.m. At noon on Saturday, May 8. transfer will be made to West Montrose United Church for funeral service at 2 p m with Rev. David Jagger officiating. followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery
