________________
Death came suddenly after two days' illness to Mrs. J. P. Snider on Wednesday, Feb. 16th at the K-W Hospital. Mrs. Snider was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boal, and spent most of her life in this community, where she was a valued member of the church where she served as organist and Sunday School teacher, though unable to take an active part for some months had so far recovered her strength to resume her duties as organist the Sunday prior to her death, becoming ill the following day. Her home was always open to the young people in whose activities she was deeply interested.
Funeral services were held in the United Church on Saturday afternoon, when a host of mourning friends paid their last respects to one who will be sadly missed. The service was in charge of the pastor, Rev. Thompson, with Rev. Fosbuary assisting.
She leaves to mourn her husband and daughter Muriel (Mrs. Karl Wahl) of Waterloo and four sisters, Mrs. Florence Gordon, Ann, Verna and Evelyn Boal all of New Toronto, to these the community extends its sincere sympathy in their sudden bereavement.
