  Dorothy Teresa Halter Friday, October 14th, 1932 - Sunday, March 21st, 2021 Halter, Dorothy Teresa (nee Seifried): It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Dorothy Halter on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at her home at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late George Halter (2007). Loving mother of Donna (Dave) Balge, Nancy (Brian) Prattis and Michael Halter (Andrea). Cherished grandma of Lindsay (Matt), Ashley (Jason), Nicholas (Tamara), Michelle (Brett), Jessica (Igor), Nicole (Brandon), Zach, Brooke and Logan. Great-grandma of Miles, Avery, Rhys, Ethan and Bryn. Dear sister of Linda (Ross) Walters. Predeceased by siblings Martina, Mildred, Marie, Alfred and Albert. Dorothy enjoyed spending her time in her garden, reading a good book or watching the Toronto Blue Jays. Her greatest joy was being with her family. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Funeral Liturgy in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Private interment at Woodland Cemetery to follow.
