  SHIELDS, Doreen Elizabeth Passed away, at Toronto General Hospital, Friday, Dec. 22, 1989. Eldest daughter of Mrs. Arne Shields of Cambridge (Preston) and the late Dr. Ross Shields of Kitchener. Survived by sisters, Mary Louise (Mrs. Howard Croskery) of Kitchener and Carol of Waterloo. Also surviving are nephew, Peter Croskery and his wife Marion of Kenora, nieces, Susan Croskery of Victoria, B.C. and Deborah Madill and her husband Albert of Simcoe, and a very special friend, Mary (Mrs. Gordon Hopkins). Cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to a memorial service in the chapel of McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 646 St. Clair Ave. West, Toronto, at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29. In lieu of flowers, a donation by Doreen's friends to the charity of their choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
