    • HERGOTT, Margaret - After a long and tenacious life, Margaret Mary Hergott passed away in the early morning hours at Saint Luke's Place in Cambridge, on Friday, January 9, 2009, at the age of 94. Born in the former Berlin (Kitchener) on September 12, 1914 to the late Alexander Hergott and the late Magdelina Reiber. Predeceased by her siblings, Clarence, Joe, Alf and Loretta. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Kitchener, originally working at Schneiders before retiring after many years of service with Burns Meats. Her father built their home on Dane Street in 1928 when Margaret was 14 years old and she resided there until she moved to Lafontaine Terrace on Borden Avenue in 2003.
