    • FUNERAL OF MRS. ZINKAN

      WINDFALL, Jan. 28\emdash The funeral of Mrs. Zinkan was held on Thursday from the home of her son-in-law, Elmer Doerr, Kitchener, to the 9th concession Blenheim cemetery. The service was conducted by Rev. Emmerson Hallman, pastor of the Zion Evangelical church of which deceased was a faithful member. He spoke comforting words from the words of Paul, "I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." A quartette sang "Some Day the Silver Cord Shall Break." Rev. Mr. Rauch and Rev. Mr. Kellerman assisted in the service. There survive four daughters and five sons, 31 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Relatives were present from Palmerston, Tavistock, Baden, Innerkip, Bright, Plattsville and surrounding district. Deceased was carried to her grave by four sons Simon Elias and Arthur Zinkan, and two son-in-laws, Elmer Doerr and Albert Smith.

      Simon Zinkan and family wish to express their deepest gratitude to the many friends who visited and remembered our mother during her long illness. We also send thanks to Dr. Hawkins and nurses bf the Woodstock General Hospital. To the many friends who sent floral tributes and otherwise expressed their sympathy in our re-cent bereavement, we extend our thanks.
