  KRAATZ, Norman Henry Passed away peacefully, at Forest Heights Long-Term Care Centre, on Tuesday, June 6, 2000, in his 95th year. Dearly loved father of Patti Kraatz; step-daughters, Theresa (Terry) Simon and Ann Marie (Jim Sehl), all of Waterloo; proud grandfather of David Simon and Diann and Stephen Sehl. Survived by his sister-in-law, Marion Kraatz of Kitchener; fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife, Elta (nee McPheran); his second wife, Catherine Burns-Young; four brothers, Carl, Harold, Victor and Gordon and one sister, Wilhemena. Before his retirement, Norm was co-owner and operator of the Strand Bowling Lanes in Kitchener for 28 years and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame in 1992. Norm was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and was also a 4th Degree Kitchener Knights of Columbus. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. where parish prayers and Knights of Columbus Scripture Service will be held at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau. Reception will be held in the Ratz- Bechtel Family Centre. As expressions of sympathy, do- nations may be made to a charity of your choice.
