  WAGNER, Doris May (Bowman) - Died peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg. Doris had lived in the New Hamburg area all of her life. She was born 80 years ago on December 31, 1925 in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Henry B. and Hulda (Egerde) Bowman. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. Doris had farmed with her husband Stanley, on the Wagner homestead, for many years, was an avid gardener and a life member of the Haysville Women's Institute. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Albert Wagner who predeceased her November 8, 1999. Loving mother of Nancy and David Brown of Kitchener, Brian and Beryl Wagner of Bedford, N.S., Darcy and Vanda Wagner, and Marilyn and Bruce Battler, all of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by grandchildren Karen and Chris Everett, Kevin Brown, Katlyn, Troy, Gretchen and Carson Wagner, Amy, Dale, Julie and Lisa Battler. Also remembered by sisters-in-law Margaret Ludolph and Martha Wagner, both of Kitchener as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by three children and two brothers in infancy as well as brothers-in-law Erhart Wagner, Clayton Wagner, Paul Ludolph and sister-in-law May Wagner. Friends and relatives may call at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Friday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 3 p.m. (Please note time) at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg with Pastors Helen Toman and Fred Ludolph officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one's own choice.
