  KROPF, ELMER DAVID Passed away peacefully, with his wife Nelda by his side, on Monday, July 25, 1994 at Stratford General Hospital, Elmer Kropf of Tavistock. He was born in Wellesley township 74 years ago, the son of the late David Kropf and Barbara Lichti. Loving husband of the former Nelda Yantzie, whom he married September 24, 1982. Dear father of Ron and his wife Mary of Tavistock, Ken and his wife Diane of Shakespeare, Bruce and his wife Charlene of RR 4, Stratford, Barry and his wife of RR 1, Shakespeare. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Carole and her husband Paul Verschueren, Karen and her husband Brant Tinning, Angie, Alisa, Amanda, Jennifer, Darren, Julie, Leanne and Kevin Kropf. Also survived by his brothers, Delton and his wife Velma, Munroe and his wife Shirley, Percy and his wife Shirley, Eric and his wife Dolores; sisters, Priscilla Roth, Veronica Groff, Susanna and Stanley Barrett, Pearl Roberts and sister-in-law, Doris Kropf. Predeceased by his first wife, Eileen Steckly in 1980; step-mother, Nancy Leis; brothers, Reuben, Joseph, Seranus and Hilbert and by sister, Phyllis Long. Elmer was a member of the Tavistock Mennonite Church and had farmed in the area all his life until his retirement. Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home "Krug Chapel", 47 Woodstock St. S., Tavistock, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Transfer will be made at noon on Thursday, July 28, 1994 to the Tavistock Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30 p.m., Pastor Darrell Toews officiating. Interment in East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Tavistock Mennonite Church Building Fund , Habitat for Humanity or to the Canadian Bible Society, would be appreciated by the family. ____________ Kropf, Elmer David, 74.
