    • Mrs. William O. Knechtel

      Mrs. William O. Knechtel, nee Ada Moyer, 68, of 23 Ahrens St. West, died today at the K-W Hospital following a lingering illness. Born Aug. 2, 1878 in Hespeler, she was a daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Samuel N. Moyer. She attended Zion Evangelical Church and was a member of the Ladies Aid and W.M.S. of the church.

      Surviving are her husband, William O. Knechtel, whom she married on June 4, 1902, in Kitchener; a son, Gerald W. at Home; two daughters, Miss Anna Margaret Knechtel of Toronto, and Mrs. A. C. (Lilyan) Macfarlane of Rosemere, Que.; two brothers, Rev. Eli S. Moyer of Hamilton and Samuel N. of Kitchener, and two sisters, Mrs. Levi Bruegeman of Merritton and Mrs. Florence Brown of Crediton. Three grandchildren also survive.

      Funeral service will be held at Zion Evangelical Church on Monday at two pm. Rev. E.E. Hallman will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Monday noon when the removal will be made to the church.
