    • GESINGHAUS, George Edward Born on February 28, 1939, George passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 with his loving wife Gloria (nee Kuntz) of 56 years at his side. Survived by his five children Brad Gesinghaus (Dee), Cindy Morrissey (Rob), Daniel Gesinghaus (Karen), Laurie Underwood (Fuzzy) and Lisa Nyusa, daughter-in-law Laurie, his six grandchildren Brandon, Trevor, Nicole, Amanda, Shawn and Christopher, great-grand daughter Keira, and by his sister Lena Kuntz. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Winnie (nee Letson) Gesinghaus, brothers Albert, Arthur, and William, sisters Winnie, Laura, and Vera, son-in-law Gord, and grandson Joshua. George retired from Inter-City Truck Lines in 1995. He was a lifetime member at the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club. George was an avid hunter and fisherman. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, (519)749-8467. A Celebration of George's Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or St. Mary's Hospital would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
