- ELIZABETH (BETTY) TIMLECK 1925-2006 Passed away peacefully, on June 25, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 81 years. Loving wife of Jack Timleck for 58 years. Devoted mother of Linda Packer (Stephen), Anne Strickler (Don), Bruce Timleck (Rebecca), and Douglas Timleck. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Tracey (Bryson) Madeley, Scott Strickler, Tiffany and Lindsay Timleck and great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Matthew Madeley and Riley Strickler. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Ida Hooke. Betty was born in Ottawa, where she spent the early years of her life. While living there she was employed at A.J. Freeman's Department Store. She then moved to the Waterloo area with her husband Jack. She was a longtime member of Parkminster United Church, where she participated in the church choir, U.C.W, and as a leader of the Explorer program. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her memory will always be cherished. Friends are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, June 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Betty's life and faith will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. Following the interment friends are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. A special thank you is extended to all of the staff at Pinehaven Nursing Home and St. Mary's Hospital - 5th floor, for their exceptional kindness and compassion. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Mary's Place and may be arranged through the funeral home.
